Thursday Update

I wanted to reach out and update you on balls.

Each team will receive 3 new wrapped game balls at check-in. These are included in your entry fee.

To clarify on balls, any Pro M ball can be used including Thunder ZN model.

No USSSA Classic M Thunder ZN, no Stadium balls, no GSL stamp balls, and no balls outside of USSSA.

Classic Plus are OK in addition to Classic M and Pro M outside of what is listed above.

Teams have all been good about updating rosters online, I will lock them tomorrow. If players are in Pending, they can still complete the waiver and accept team invite anytime.

Hoping this email finds you well, and excited to play for the rings this weekend!


We will have the bracket out for you tomorrow morning. Appreciate your patience in the meantime. The tournament is being planned for one day only, Saturday. Reaching out tonight just to go over a few items.


The entry fee for the tournament is $475. Teams can pay through their Team Manager account online by credit card, or at the field before starting. I will put the entry fee in each manager's shopping cart if they choose to pay by credit card.


The event this weekend will be handled by National Office. If anything comes up, please reach out at: [email protected] and one of us will respond back. The on-site director will be Tony Walczak at the field Saturday. Tony has been involved with USSSA for many years as a top umpire and UIC. He should be able to handle any issue.


Teams need to have their roster online. I have spoken to each team through text in the last day or so. You can still add players, Friday morning the rosters will lock. At that point we want to minimize any roster adds unless a true emergency.


We are playing USSSA book rules for game play. 1 home run per the team then inning ending outs. No mandatory pitcher runner rule. One runner allowable per inning, can be anyone on the roster. You need to announce any substitutions to home plate umpire.


All teams must have uniforms for this tournament. Must be matching or "extremely" similar. All players need non-duplicating uniform numbers.


The World tournament format is straight double elimination. We will add a drop down flight for the teams eliminated early.


Teams can hit any USSSA Classic M or Pro M ball. No GSL balls or Stadiums or Thunder ZN balls. We are working on having some balls available at the field. I will update on this item tomorrow.


Teams must swing only USSSA 240 thumbprint stamped bats for this event. No old 220 stamp bats or from other sanction.
